Your own S3-compatible storage, such as AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, MinIO, or Ceph with RADOS Gateway, is free from Outpost. Unmanaged endpoints: $0.75 per tracked device per month, separately from managed endpoint-hours.
Platform fees: $99/month for an IT department; $999/month for an MSP. The free trial lasts 30 days. Trial endpoint limits: 2,000 for IT departments and 100 for MSPs.
What does an unmanaged endpoint cover?
Network-attached devices where the Outpost agent cannot run: switches, cameras, printers, and similar equipment tracked for your organization or clients. Budget $0.75 per device per month.
Planned capabilities: vulnerability alerting and automated patching for supported network devices are in development. Managed endpoints already have both. They will become available as implementation is completed; support will depend on the device and its vendor integration.

How the estimate works.
Why estimate endpoints as online all month?
It gives you a consistent baseline. The calculator assumes every managed endpoint contributes 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, divided by 12: 730 hours per average month. Actual billing uses metered agent-alive time, so an endpoint that runs for fewer hours contributes less usage.
How is an MSP’s estimate calculated?
Enter managed and unmanaged counts across all of your clients. The platform fee applies once to your partner account, and usage rolls up across the practice. Outpost’s client billing tools let you manage your own client agreements and invoices separately.
Do I have to use Outpost Cloud Storage?
No. Outpost Cloud Storage includes 100 GB-months per account, then $0.06 per GB-month, and storage you provide yourself, such as AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, MinIO, Ceph with RADOS Gateway, or any other S3-compatible storage, is free from Outpost.
